Prayer

Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible, a public-domain translation.

The day

A day has three natural pauses. The app keeps them for you.

Each day of the month has its own theme, carried from the first prayer to the last. You can read every part, and listen where audio is available.

When you wake · about 5 minutes

Morning

A passage of Scripture, a short reflection on what it says, and a prayer to carry into the day.

Around noon · 1 minute

Midday

One line of Scripture and a pause: put down what is in your hands, breathe, and hand over the afternoon.

Before sleep · about 4 minutes

Night

Two questions to look back over the day, a verse to rest on, and a prayer that hands the day back.

Read and listen

Read it, or close your eyes and listen.

Every prayer is there as text. The sleep readings, the children's stories and selected days also have audio, so you can pray while you walk, drive or lie down. Here is one complete day. Then our voices, your choice: the same psalm read six ways.

Narration uses synthetic voices.

Where the money goes

Every plan contributes to the Human Hope project.

The Human Hope project is Human Hope Foundation's community work for social wellbeing, education and practical care. Human Hope Daily is sold directly by the foundation, a nonprofit corporation: after the cost of running the platform (payment processing, hosting, email and support), the proceeds of every plan go to that work.

Social wellbeing

People-centred programs that strengthen support networks, participation and belonging.

Education

Learning materials and access initiatives that lower the barriers between people and their next opportunity.

Practical care

Everyday resources offered with dignity to individuals and families carrying more than they can manage alone.

Questions

Plain answers.

If yours is not here, write to [email protected].

How do I get in after I pay?

When your payment goes through, the page that opens signs you in and shows your order ID. Keep it: with your checkout email, it is how you sign in on another device. If that page did not open, go to Set up access and enter your checkout email and the receipt number from your Stripe receipt.

How do I open it on my phone or computer?

Human Hope Daily runs in the browser you already have. Go to humanhopefoundation.com/login and sign in. To keep it one tap away, choose “Add to Home Screen” on iPhone and iPad, or “Install app” on Android and in Chrome or Edge on a computer. There is nothing to download from a store.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every plan is one payment for the length you choose. Nothing renews, no card is kept for future charges and there is nothing to cancel. When a timed plan ends you can buy another if you want to continue.

Is a plan a donation?

No. A plan is a purchase of access to Human Hope Daily, with a 14-day refund. Human Hope Foundation, the nonprofit that sells it, uses the proceeds for the Human Hope project: its community work for social wellbeing, education and practical care. A plan is not tax-deductible: you receive access in return, and the foundation's federal tax-exempt recognition is still pending. Where the money goes explains it step by step.

What is the difference between the rows?

Personal is everything in the app for one person. Scripture Guide adds a study note to every reading-plan passage. Family gives seats to the people in your household, each with a private journal, and one prayer list you share. Foundation Circle is lifetime access with the option of having your name listed among the founding supporters.

How do family plans work?

The person who buys the plan adds family members by email on the Family page: up to 4 people on the 6-month plan and 5 on the 12-month plan, counting the buyer. Each person signs in with their own email and a family code that the buyer finds next to their name on the Family page. Journals stay private; only the family prayer list is shared.

What if it is not right for me?

Email us within 14 days of purchase and we refund the full amount to your original payment method. You do not need to give a reason. Details are in the Refund Policy.

Which Bible translation do you use?

The World English Bible (WEB), a modern English translation in the public domain. The whole of it is in the app's Bible reader.

Who can read my prayer journal?

Only you, after you sign in. Entries are stored under your account so they appear on each of your devices. We do not sell or share them, and you can delete any entry at any time. See the Privacy Policy.

Who reads the audio?

The narration is generated with synthetic voices. It is marked as such wherever you can play it.
